What can I say? quite possibly my favorite punk band. One of the things that makes them so damn good is that they have their own style while still being punk. They don't sound like anyone else and when they were together they did their own thing. Can't help, but respect that in a band. Opivy has a pretty big following on the net, and you can easily find their cds in probably any store cuz they still actually sell even thought Opivy broke up years ago. 2 of these guys are in Rancid which is why Rancid sounds a lot like Opivy. Opivy's music is really hard and pretty fast. People who like Punk or Metal will like Opivy. Opivy was one of the most influential bands in the Punk scene and a lot of new punk bands are influenced by Operation Ivy. They are 80's punk and if you are only into 90's punk like the Bouncing Souls and the Offspring then I am not sure how much you will like them.
